For Walkers and Cyclists

The 2 rivers, peaceful countryside, and large numbers of points of historic interest mean that Braughing is a great base for country walks and rides, and it’s surprising how few people explore here.  There are 37 Rights of Way in the parish of Braughing, totalling over 21 miles.

The Brown Bear is the ideal place to start and end your walk, or break your journey for a well-earned pint.  When it’s quiet you’re welcome to leave your car in our car park while you walk. We are happy to take orders for food to be ready for you at either the start or end of your walk.
